kennethk Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 My chances are more than likely slim to none, but I am in need of an old amd athlon pc with an IDE interface for some linux programs that aren't new pc friendly. It'd be awesome if one of you has one that lives in the kansas city area, we could meet up and exchange. I'm looking to spend no more than under $50-$

RedFury77 Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 I have an old board lying around that just might have ide connections on it. I'll check it out tomorrow.
kennethk Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 I'd need the whole pc, you know I just might ask to close this thread and attempt to install a modchip. Sorry! Feel free to let me know what you got though.

Waco Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 XBox hdm maker, I'm installing a 2tb drive to the original xbox. An IDE to USB converter and some VM work could work for that...but it sounds like some here may have the hardware you want. :-)
gebraset Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Have an old system, but shipping it would kill the whole price point that you're wanting.
The Smith Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 (edited) I have an Athlon 64 in an ASUS M2N-MX SE PLUS. You would just need the cooler and RAM. Oh and I have the I/O shield too. It's from Canada, so shipping is a bit prohibitive. Thus, it's yours for 35$. Send me a PM if you are interested.
