But yeah, I agree with the top comment on Youtube, Diesel nozzles are always fatter than gasoline nozzles, so it just plain wouldn't fit.

wonder if it needs d.e.f. too ?

I'm pretty sure all the TDI  (Turbo direct injection) engines do, you only need to fill the container every ~10,000 miles or so though.

 

if i run out of def my engine derates and powers down...must keep def inside at all times...

i work at an auto parts store and we get people all the time that didn't even know they needed def until the light came on in there brand new trucks.

 

 

and who was the brilliant guy at gm that decided this tank needs to be under the hood, have you ever tried to hang a 5 gal bucket over the fender of a 1 ton truck and then hold it till its full?

gm, the home of "built in obsolescence" ...i met a guy the other day that had a custom 50 gallon tank built and installed in his jimmy bed so he doesn't have to go under the hood anymore...it was a fine piece of equipment !
