It looks more or less color changed V-LX board to me.

This decent performing board should be one of the good choice for budget builds and it woud definitely increase the competetion between the companies in mid range section.

Although I don't like that golden-black color, combo, but it's more of a personal choice.

And at last I must say it is another very detailed review by BluePanda . :thumbsup:

When I first saw the color you either love it or hate it. I will tell you this is a much better color pattern than what was originally going to be released. As a board it is very solid and offers a dependable entry point with all of the Z87 feature set and plenty of ASUS exclusives..

^^ OT: The black-golden combo reminds me of the Asrock's Extreme series motherboards - specially those with 'golden' capacitors.

And yes, the performance offered by this one is very good indeed!
