darn it, it works with all sockets that matter except lga775 (the one i really need to get cooled down) so i guess it's gonna be either the h100, or the h80 for the office server gamer ...

The backing plate handles Socket 775 so it should be ok.

I have to put another one I am testing in the box in a day or so and will take a closer look at it for you.

That 140mm would be great in a HAF 932... I hope Corsair start incorporating these into some of their cases with a design twist... would be neat!

Yeah, in my 650D, I saw screw-holes for 10mm fans at the top. But I don't know whether the same thing is present in 800D or not.
