Gr4vitas Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Will it run? Specs are in my sig, I can get this cpu up to 5.5ghz pretty easily and my gpu overclocks pretty well too. Will I be able to play crysis on high settings? (maybe max settings?)

CAINuKe Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 I actually built a friend of mine a rig that runs 6950s in Crossfire on a old AMD 965. Crysis 3, with the exception of Anti Aliasing and Objects is pretty much maxed out at 1920X1080.

Nyt Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 (edited) Will it run? Specs are in my sig, I can get this cpu up to 5.5ghz pretty easily and my gpu overclocks pretty well too. Will I be able to play crysis on high settings? (maybe max settings?) What do you mean by "Max" settings ? If by "Max" you mean 8xMSAA,16xAF with everything on very high then definitely no, my GTX690 can barely manage that at 1920x1080 lol But Guru3D did a very nice test on graphics cards for Crysis 3. 1920x1200 at Very High with FXAA (the lowest AA setting in the game IMO) on 6970 = 23FPS 1920x1200 at High with FXAA on 6970 = 38FPS Edit : Link - http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/crysis_3_graphics_performance_review_benchmark,6.html You will be able to play it, but you may have to lower some settings past "High" to get a smooth 60FPS Edited February 23, 2013 by Midnight Rider
