It looks good, for those who already ran out of space in their chassis or really need extra hot-swap bay. But the $110 price tag seems to be a bit high to me. Plus lack of fan is another bad point to consider. Many 5.25'' based hot swap bays have fans included with it. Thus what's the need of using it??

Its purely about back up speed. An external that runs as fast as an internal. Many people are moving to portables so you get more storage. I had 8TB of storage running in this thing.
