EuroFight Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 It's not only prostate cancer, it's testicular cancer and other types of cancer that predominantly affect men...in fact my dad had prostate cancer, luckily they caught it in time and he's fine now

VaporX Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 While I applaud the effort I feel most events like this actually do little to create true awareness to the cause. For breast cancer every year a local radio station sells the right to hang bras on the outside of their building. Now imagine the money used to buy those bras actually used to donate to breast cancer research. As for raising awareness, sorry it only looks gross. In the case of growing a handlebar mustache most people will look at you and not think about cancer research but rather think you are getting ready for a costume or play, or just have some weird sense that it makes you look cool. Want to do something useful for cancer research, run folding at home full tilt for the month. At least then you know what you are doing actually helps and is not used for administrative fees.

Onion Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Nope. I look terrible unshaved, my girlfriend doesn't like it, it's itchy as hell, and it's not going to do very much as far as raising awareness goes.
