MJCRO Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 (edited) Need help on rooting my Transformer Prime TF300T, any way to do it without an SD card? I've already unlocked my bootloader and installed the recovery image. I'm really don't feel like going to buy a SD card just to do it to install the root for JB 4.1.1. Any suggestions? Muchoman1 Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Haven't rooted my prime yet, but on my phone you could select internal sdcard, which was the phones memory itself

Stonerboy779 Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 (edited) It's all goodie! BTW sb what phone do you have? I've been debating on getting a Andrioid next to replace my iSlow. My ancient pos Sony X10i It is running a custom kernel and rom. It is jellybean skinned rom that takes the best bits of ICS and JB but is a stock based GB rom that also has ported features from other Xperia phones. For a 2 and half year old phone it goes alright. Also the camera on it is fantastic Some of my favourite pics with it pic1, pic2, pic3, pic4, pic5 and pic6 However I am replacing it with a Sony Xperia T or TX (preferably TX) when it becomes available withing the next few weeks. Some lovely benchies http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_tx_t_and_v_benchmarks_are_here_promising_too-news-4722.php Specs inside spoilers OS: Android OS, v4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) Chipset: Qualcomm MSM8260A Snapdragon CPU: Dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait GPU: Adreno 225 Camera: 13 MP, 4128x3096 pixels, autofocus, LED flash Camera button: dedicated, double indented Video: 1080p@30fps, continuous autofocus, video light, video stabilizer Secondary: 1.3 MP, 720p@30fps Card slot: microSD, up to 32 GB Internal: 16 GB, 1 GB RAM Screen: 720 x 1280 pixels, 4.55 inches (~323 ppi pixel density) Battery: Standard battery, Li-Ion 1850 mAh Bluetooth: v3.1 with A2DP NFC: Yes USB: microUSB (MHL) v2.0 Also it looks so bloody sexy Edit: I suppose I should say I do have an iPod Touch 4th Gen and I can use it side by side with my Xperia X10 and regardless of the fact that my phone is slow and old I do still prefer to use it over my iPod. Will be selling my iPod as soon as I get my new phone i am so over my ipod its just beyond annoying and I only got it because there was shit all competition for music players in aus. Will turn my X10 into a dedicated music player haha. Edited September 7, 2012 by Stonerboy779
MJCRO Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Nice dude! My contract ends next May. I'm not really sure what I wanna get next but I think it'll be either a Samsung, HTC, or Sony Experia for sure. Can't WAIT for my upgrade.
