Quote from one of the posters on that link:

idk if that will be enough for a GTX 680, he may need a 2nd mortgage

500 pounds will buy a lot more than $500. ;)

Another rumor about the GTX 680 speccs

Holy whoa - 6Ghz memory speed.... :O :D

Well, supposedly it is a much smaller die than the 7970's core... maybe that will result in cooler temperatures and monster overclockability

You didn't mention it also said on that page "VR-ZONE felt confident enough to provide the date of the expected official announcement, March 12th and, stated that March 23rd was the rumoured date of the product's hard launch into the market."

Maybe I'll be playing with one before the month is out!

Well, I know my 5870 has a 4.8Ghz effective memory clock, Didn't think GDDR5 could push quite that high. I just looked up the 7970 specs, yeah it does 5.7Ghz
My bad. Its a shame it only has a 256-bit bus speed because it needs all of the extra memory speed to only match a GTX580's memory bandwidth.
