technology does indeed move ahead quickly and the samsung intercept is lacking- but to claim a phone is outdated because it is a year old is silly

but then, this could be why sprint is last in the smartphone race, even with their unlimited data plans the phones are weak

btw, one of the top selling smart phones for 2011 - this year - is the iphone 3GS which is over two years old now

LMFAO, Sprint's andriod phones aren't weak, nor are they "last" in the smartphone race. You chose a weak phone, don't blame Sprint or Andriod for your inability to know what the heck you are buying, or do any research! Even when the Intercept was brand new it was a cheap and weak Andriod phone! Sprint released the only Andriod that could even hang with the iPhone, the Evo 1st, and has released the 2nd gen Evo with a dual core proc! Do some research before you just post a thread talking about about a bunch on nonsense :google:

Now, to claim that a piece of hardware from over a year ago is not outdated (especially with smartphones) is just plain blind! You say that tech moves ahead quickly, then your next statement basically contradicts that???? Also, do you think the iPhone 3GS was one of the top selling smartphones this year because of the technology in the phone? WTF, they dropped the price on the 3GS to basically free, and we are in a recession, do the math :whistling:

Troll becomed the trolled?

I think chobit likes to start shiit...but this time it wasn't intentional. He really just doesn't understand wtf he's talking about and bought a crappy phone without realizing it.

I'm sure he'll try to turn that into a dig against Android phones though...

I'm not sure what you people are smoking

if you look at this pie chart, which is current as of last month, sprint is last

this is smartphone ownership only

please ignore the 8% of idiots on ATT who don't own an iphone or did not switch to verizon

I will probably switch to verizon once the iphone5 is out

my android phone is only crappy when surfing the web, other than that it is an amazing value

edit:

you might find this also interesting

sprint uses the most bandwidth, I guess because its unlimited and a great value

He clearly does not! But, he has def already turned his short-sightedness into a dig against Android!

So do we need to also ignore the "other" and TMobile as well? Because according to the graph YOU posted, Sprint is 2nd behind Verizon :whistling: Considering how many more customers Verizon has than Sprint, I would say 15% less Android market share is prob a win! But, again, YOU chose an Android phone that was WEAK when it was originally released!

Im not sure if you guys read the news, but Tmobile was bought by ATT

so we can consider them an iphone network now

the other 8% are Europeans, so they dont count

just kidding, it would include things like virgin mobile and net10

which are pay for minutes, etc.
