iskout Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 Does QuickSync pull from the memory from the dedicated cards when using the IGP, or from System RAM? That's my main issue with IGP's, really. I prefer to have a dedicated card in the lowest of PC's, if at all possible (my mother is using a 7200GS)
ccokeman Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 It pulls from system memory. But with 8 to 16GB installed and a max pull of 256MB it should not be that big of an issue.

iskout Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Interesting... I won't be getting a Z68 board, but if they integrate QuickSync into future chipsets as well, it would be nice to drop my power bill
