beeiilll Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 No cloud for me. I am too old school I guess and want my data to remain mine and not available to everyone else, so I store everything on my own system. The government gets enough info on people as it is so I want to make sure that they have to work to get mine.
Phil Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 I've got all of my photos and music backed up to Skydrive, and my music to Gmail. I've also got a lot of stuff on Picassa, Flickr, Photobucket, Facebook and Myspace.
fire_storm Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 I use Windows Live SkyDrive mainly just for storing school Word Documents and some photos other than that I really don't use cloud stored because of it's security / limitations it has. Black64 Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 I put none, but I do use google docs maybe 3 times a year.
gebraset Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Nope, as of right now just external hard drives. Seems too expensive to store on the cloud right now, especially if I'm in an area that has no internet and I need a file for something. I want my stuff where only i can get at it, and where i dont have to wait to find an internet connection to use it.

What is this, I don't even I use dropbox, because sometimes they have things that allow you to get free space for minimal effort. Woot 3.3GB. Guest_Jim_* Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 I use SkyDrive to keep things synced across my two computers with Live Mesh. I don't even need the full 25GB, just the 5GB for syncing, but even then, barely. Since the desktop folds all day I can just have the files synced to the computers instead of to the cloud storage.
