JuniorPC Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 I have a PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 watt Quad and thinking of getting 2 X 4890 of a buddy for $100, I was wondering if that will supply the two cards?
IVIYTH0S Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Definitely!! What other components do you have?? and DAMN good deal on the two 4890s!! I'm running a similar setup CF setup on the 750W silencer, damn good unit. I'm hard on it too!

Krieg1337 Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Yeah easily. I was reading that it might even be able to run dual GTX 480s, maybe it was 470's. But its a damn good PSU , just the cables are ugly

ebarone Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 I run dual GTX 480's and the rest of the stuff in my sig with my PCP&C Silencer 750, and this bad boy doesnt miss a beat, even when overclocking. I'll never buy a non-PCP&C PSU again

I'll never buy a non-PCP&C PSU again I heard the MK II's were lower quality than the older ones. Personally next time I will go with an AX corsair just because they are fully modular, just as good or even better. No gigantic cable mess . But I won't be getting a new PSU anytime soon. Waco Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 (edited) Another vote for the 750 Quad - I have the same one running my main desktop which is no slouch in the power sucking department. Edited January 30, 2011 by Waco
