Also I decided to paint the inside matte black and still thinking about what to do with the outside..

 

 

I realized that the x-flow type rad wont fit in the 3.5 bay cutout. I'm looking for a normal dual-pass rad now. I tried to get creative with the fitment but it's going to be impossible internally..

Well I did a lot of work on the 300 today. I painted the inside matte black and did some custom work on the exterior. I'm figuring a lot of people won't like it, but I really like it b/c It's totally unique and I've never seen it before.

 

I did a little "Dremel Scribbling" and the finish is really cool because its super reflective at different angles.

Interesting idea with the Dremel, but it's ugly IMO. Perhaps if there were some sort of pattern to it, or my personal favourite:

 

 

Just brushed in one direction. But hey, it's your case, and you got a great deal on it!

I'm just having fun with it--and I definitely learned how to paint the inside of my HAF now!

Just a learning experience. I had never used a dremel before and had extremely limited spray paint experience

The outside is interesting. I am guessing you will be putting a coat or two of clear on it to keep it from rusting or is that the idea.. to have it rust and then coat it in clear?

I'll probably clear coat it-don't even know what I'm going to be using this for yet. Wanted to learn to cut and paint to play with my HAF

So this was just an Experiment.

I bet it would look pretty slick if you re-did the paint after having carved up the outside, maybe do it so it looks like ghost flames, except in this case, ghost squiggles.

Not everything has to be perfect guys, sometimes a beatup/used look can look pretty nice.
