Nemo Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 ASUS has a complete line of Socket 1156 motherboards and today we get a look at two members of its P7P55D family in the OCC review of the ASUS P7P55D Premium and P7P55D-E Pro - http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/as...5d_premium_pro/
RJR Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Nice review ccoke, but very confusing on the overclocking. No one I know, including myself, would try for the max Bclk for a 24/7 OC. You would only need MAX Bclk when trying to get a Max OC, that's what is so confusing about your OC evaluation. Most people including myself will take it to maybe 200 and up the multi, so you don't have to go crazy with the other voltages, like vtt, to be 24/7 stable. So, it's kind of confusing because you said you were going for a 24/7 stable OC but were trying to max out the Bclk? OH, the OC listed for the Premium 213 X 21 = 4252, you may want to change that to 20 multiplier.
PingoPongo Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 I think the BCLK is maxed out just to see how far a board can go so they could be compared.
