It looks really nice and and all but is a bit of a disappointment when it pared with those P55 boards. Not having heat spreaders is worrisome a with a $100+ price tag. They perform well enough but I am not convinced.

His: Xeon X3450 @ 4.0GHz / GA-P55A-UD3 / Corsair DDR3 8gb / MSI HD 7970 OC / Noctua D15 / Seagate 500GB HDD / Lian Li K58 / Corsair TX 650

Hers: FX 8320 @ 4.51GHz / GA-990XA-UD3 / G.Skill DDR3 8gb 1600 / EVGA GTX 660 SC / Hyper 212+ / WD 1TB Green  / Antec 300 / Corsair CX 600

Parents: i5 4590 @ 3.5GHz / GA-G1 Sniper B6 / Corsair DDR3 8gb / MSI GTX 960LE / Hyper 212+ / 128gb SSD / 1tb HDD / F.D. R4 / Corsair CXM 500

Good review, the patriots did well (of course we're talking synthetics).

I was interested in the non heat spreader design (well until the leds turned on)

Though as always when it comes to the real world:

memory is memory is memory :P
