That was very interesting and beyond the norm of what we usually see. Kudos on the idea to test this setup.

Very interesting tests. Looks good... but honestly, someone would be pretty dumb to buy a 5870, then CFX it with a 5850... when a 5870 is only $90 more. But nonetheless, shows that there are gains if you just happen to stumble across one :P

Nice review, just a quick note, it says HD5800 CF on the graphs instead of HD5870 CF ;)

Thats because it is 5870+5850 Xfire not 5870Xfire

But holy crap, this thing creams the GTX295 in almost every test :lol:

It's crossfireX. It's been possible since the HD3700 series debuted
