nice review ccokeman

the only thing that I am dissapointed to see is that you didn't use the rivatuner 2.24 fix to overclock the hell out of it.
bjorn3d managed to get 901 core /1000 memory and another website managed this.

Good review Frank, as always.

I'm curious about the 4850 numbers for the Dead Space test. In all the other game tests, the 4850 stayed a nose ahead of this card (even when it was OC'd), but in Dead Space it fell significantly behind. Do you think that's just a fluke or is there something about Dead Space that might give the newer 4770 the edge?

4770 uses GDDR5, which could explain the difference

Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but they bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

I would think the memory would go higher than 1000 because that is what it is rated for. I will follow up .

I dont think that would explain the difference completely. Could be a driver issue or just a fluke.
