JBL Flip speaker - $65 with my Best Buy employee discount. ($100 retail)

2 year warranty on the speaker - $2.35 with my Best Buy employee discount. ($15 retail)

Loving the Best Buy discount! :D The speaker is pretty cool, its affordable, even at $100, connects via bluetooth, and is VERY powerful, especially for the small size. Turning it all the way up while driving is too loud for me, which should mean something considering my car is so loud that it sets off car alarms on idle.

I think so, some details were sketchy, but yeah I think this was the first generation of dual cores standard.  It's got a 160 GB SATA HHD (more than I'll ever need) and 1 GB RAM (I prefer a little more for XP, but I'll run it lean and mean).

2 gallons of gas for a stranger. $7

I was driving home from school when I saw a broken down car on campus. I parked nearby and got out to help the man push his car off the road. He tells me he's run out of gas. After pushing his car away, I offer to help him get gas. He agrees. I drive him to the university police department, where we ask if they have a gas can we can borrow. They lend it to us, and I drive the guy to the gas station. He tells me he works for the school cafeteria, and had no money to put gas in his car in the morning. His direct deposit hadn't arrived on time because Monday was a holiday. When we got to the gas station, he said he was gonna go inside to pay for the gas. I knew he had no money for the gas, so I told him not to worry about it. I pumped $13 into my car, and $7 into the gas can. I drove him back to school, and we filled up his car, and he was on his way. Seeing how happy I made the guy was well worth 45 minutes of my time and $7.

A dell 6400 laptop on eBay for $62.

Not bad, those have the C2Ds in them right?

Well I got it.  Dual core 2.0, 160GB HDD, 2GB RAM.  Dirty but otherwise fine.  When I fired it up there were 100 processes running, lol.  Running fast now though.  :)
