If so, is anybody encountering any problems getting the game to work or having any trouble with your current programs? How's the violence? Is there a filter? How about the language? Is there a filter or can dialogue be turned off? Please share your opinions of the game, and please keep doing so as you progress. I've been waiting for a long time to get it but now am unsure. This drm stuff scares me. If anybody can share a little personal info on drm as well it would be much appreciated. It isn't going anywhere so you might as well live with it. There are plenty of games that use DRM and I haven't had any issues as of yet. If you are a Fallout fanboy just go grab it. maj0rgamer Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 Are people blowing it out of proportion with the drm hating then? It seems to be a really big deal, and I gotta say it sounds pretty scary. Anybody have any experiences with it? I've actually never played any of the Fallout games before, but the fps/rpg hybrid has me really interested. Must be bad, since this is my first time hearing that he gets motion sickness from games. I'm waiting till my friend gets it be4 I do anything about Fallout 3. maj0rgamer Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 This motion sickness stuff seems to be getting more prevalent as the games get more and more realistic. Playing with a light on might help. My friend just picked it up for Xbox360 today...and I'm sure he'll be playing for about 6 hours tonight, so I'll check with him tomorrow on his initial impression. Crazy_Nate Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 I bought it and am in the process of downloading it through steam...hopefully it won't have some of the trouble with DRM that everybody has been having (alcohol or daemon tools, sometimes SATA DVD drives show up as being emulated, etc).
