$Bill Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 Recently had my ATI Radeon 9700 PRO give up the ghost after a year+ in my system after a couple more in my brother's system previously. I've put in a Sapphire Radeon 9550, and the install was normal. Even ran NFS:MW on it a little. Had to reboot my system, and got as far as the RAID config screen with no Windows load screen. I've run Memtest a couple times and had no errors, and I haven't a clue what could be causing this. Also, I've been offline for about a month, so a virus doesn't seem feasable. wevsspot Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 Bill, I would try a boot with a single stick of RAM, do a full and proper CMOS clear, reboot and load optimized defaults, save and exit.
