New SLI-DR = 4 red leds of doom

Recommended Posts

i hope u have got all the Power connectors in, and i mean ALL because i have seen a person try to boot with just the 24 pin ATX and they thought the board was screwed, i plugged it up and wam it worked.

Make sure u have it then try taking everything out excluding the CPU, if it doesn't change lights it means there is insufficeint power or something wrong with power.

Hinrik i hope u get good cooling over in Iceland :D

Remove MoBo from box and try out of the case just make sure that U dont have any metal under the mobo when U try. That PSU is good but it could still Be faulty (yes it does happen). Reseat those cabels as well. Reseat CPU. Then try.

I've used that PSU for about a week before I got the new stuff, and it worked perfectly. I'm going to take the motherboard/psu out of the case now and see if I get anywhere.

Edit: Nope, same story.

Yeah i already tried that, removed from case and same problem...

Today i will test my venice in another mobo (another dfi ultra-d), and lets see if is my cpu the problem....

I think that the problem is the bios that is not working with venice (E3).
