Hard Drives, Zip, DVD Drive, ZIP

So I'm getting ready to upgrade and transfer stuff from my old system (P450) to new(AMD 1800+ w. DDR). Couple of questions:

 

Hard drives - I have 2 (and no money to buy a new one yet) a 10gb 5400RPM and a 12gb 4000RPM.

 

Can I use them both - 10gb as master, and 12gb as slave? Will both run at 4000RPM (lowest common denominator)?

 

If I can't run both, can I use an internal zip100 as the slave?

 

Have DVD as master, CD-RW as slave on other IDE cable.

 

If I can use everything I an one connection short (can handle 4 IDE devices). What are my options in this case.

Ya you can use both harddrives. Its you choose if you put them on the same IDE cable. I would put your 10gig and DVD as your masters and the other harddrive and cdrw as your slaves.
