First, Ive never really modded anything before so this is a first. Im getting an x800xtpe for my new rig and want to put a zalman cooler on it. How difficult is it to install? and is there anything i should be careful of taking the stock HSF off of the vid card?

LMAO How true.

the xtpe cooler is quite good. plus, it exhausts the hot air out of your case which the zalman doesn't do. i flashed my x850XT to x850XT PE and overclocked it some more to 550/1200 and the load gpu temp is 62C which is pretty darn good. yes, those zalman's are sweet looking but you may be better off without it.
dammit, old thread!
