K,

So I have a CM Centurion 5 case which needs a little more cooling. The case came with a side window, which I have zero use for. Since the window is bolted on, my plan is to remove the plexiglass, and replace it with metal mesh to match the front of the case. Now, the metal mesh front panel also has a thin foam filter behind it to prevent massive dust intake. I'd like to put this on the side panel but have no idea where to look for it. Craft stores? I don't even know where to begin.

Thanks for your help,

Greg

Air conditioner filter would be perfect! Thanks!

i also like the dryer sheets (kills static cling! hehe) and i custom cut them to fit...not only does it filter dust, but leaves a nice scent!

Good idea A_G. I was actually looking to cover the entire window area with mesh/foam, so the dryer sheets would be a little small. Now that I think about it though, i have positive pressure inside my case, so the foam maybe isn't even necessary. I may, however, mod 1 or 2 fans onto the side panel to hit the cpu and/or my toasty chipset. Do you find that the dryer sheets block much airflow? How often do you replace them?

Thanks,

Greg
