I can't remember where I read it, but somewhere, there's a guide on how to mod your PSU so you can pump up the 3.3V rail to 4.0.

I just ordered OCZ 4000VX and I flashed my bios on my DFI NF3 Lanparty 250gb with the one that will let me hit 4v

All i need now is my PSU to let me hit it.

Thanks!

Thanks for the link.

No. the Patriot is going back. would not go past a post on this board. Looking forward to my OZC 4000 VX!!!! Just got word from my supplier, and it looks like I might have to wait until tomorow.

It's a shame about that Patriot though. I was really looking forward to seeing what it could do.

Thats some good linkage.. Im a real noob when it comes to voltage mods and that guide from hellfire was so good even I was able to do it without blowing up my psu..

Just a tip.. always make sure that the psu is unplugged before touching anything inside.. ummm.. not like I would know or anything..hehe

Oh man.. that shocked the hale outta me..lol..

Yes your right when they are unplugged too.. Thats why I always press the power button a few times after removing the power plug .. That discharges the power left in it..

Someone else on another forum gave me this as well. It's very detailed.
