try using a dremel to cut off the rivets. I've got the same type of case, but I'm not too sure really how to remove it. If worse comes to worse, you can always cut that off...

Just take an orderinary drill and drill rite in the center of the rivets. this is the best way to do it.

thanks guys fro the help i was thinking of the drill idea but wondered if their was a way around it. i am putting my new 2500+ and asus a7n8x deluxe mobo in tonight and prob doing a fresh OS install. so while i got everything out of case i am going to strip down case and go to town on the rivets. the only thing i am worried about is getting all the metal shavings out. oh well going to try it after work tonight. thanks again guys

I have the same case and i removed the rivets using a drill. I popped off the front cover and drilled right in. I removed both drive bays (replaced with smaller one) and also the bar that goes across the window to support the upper rack and power supply (it has been off for over a year and i have not once had a problem not having it on)
But yeah drilling out the rivets is the best way to go and it is easy to reattach with a riveting gun if you ever want it back on.

nice looking rig man. i didn't take off front panel though just drilled from inside and removed outside rivet and pulled with a little force and it pulled out left side and middle with no mess either looks great. i am going to post pics when i get h2o up and running next week
