ok so this isn't an extreme mod or anything but im upgrading my hard drive, and the screws holding it in are absolutely stuck. Does anybody have advice for getting them out?

...hmm try harder?? that worked for me, if you striped it get a bigger screwdriver, otherwise dremel..

and why are you takin it out..is it bad now..other wise leave it in and just use two hard drives..

well it doesn't look at all like a mod to me seems like this should be moved to the "Help" section.

put your case where you dont have to hold it and then use the right size screwdriver or as stated above if the head is striped then use a bigger one push down hard with one hand and twist with the other good luck

well, it is a mod, just not the type of mod that we generally think of when we hear the word. changing a hard drive is still modifying a system, but yeah. this should go in the help section. have to give smada credit.
smada, if you want to see what type of modding we are talking about, check out some of the cases or some pics that were entered into mod contests at other sites. gl with your hd.

if it is the kind of screws that have the hexagonal edges then you should be able to use a small socket wrench, if not, try the above methods.
