Which case is that?
The fan on the Zalman looks like it catch that wire there.
Little more wire routing and it will look great.
Gak
I'll take some better pics next weekend...

It's an Aerocool Baydream.

And i have already taken care of the wire routing...

Well after some advice from a friendly moderator (hi soundx98 smile.gif) I am posting details of my rig in here for all to see ..

Current detalis are in my sig with a link to pics and you can even vote for it if you feel inclined wink.gif

I just got a Venus MOBO 2 days ago .. Have not put it in my rig yet but will be this weekend, just waiting on an MCW30, 2 VL Systems Zephyrus Fan controllers, VL Systems L.I.S 2 Premium VFD, 2Gb of OCZ DDR500 and a Matrix Orbital LCD to arrive, hopefully today!!!

I also ordered a SystemXtreme Ram and MOSFET cooling setup but it will be a few weeks before it arrives. I had some mips-computer chillers (RAM, MOSFET and Chipset) which I was going to install on the non Expert board but not going down that path now wink.gif

It was a bit of a splurge around 6 months ago and I wanted to build something that was going to be cool and fast but also practical. Installing the Radiators into the side of the case was a real PITA as the Tai Chi case is cast aly and finned ... fiddly job with a hacksaw and dremel smile.gif The pics of the rig on the workbench are a little old as the 750W Meanwell PSU is no longer strapped to the top. It was originally there to run the 226W Pelt and the 7x30W 220CFM Deltas  eek!!! biggrin.gif I'll update the pics after the w/e when I put the Venus and other bits in.

I scrapped the Deltas because they were just too noisy and 7 of them was nuts (sounded like a vacuum cleaner) even with the custom PWM MOSFET Controllers I built to manage their speed manually at their lowest sustainable RPM they were still too noisy. They did push a crapload of air tho biggrin.gif

Have 110CFM 7.5W Panaflows in there now so I was able to swap the Meanwell 750W with the 320W PSU in the Switech kit which fit inside the case wink.gif This coupled with the new FC's things should run sweet and far less noisily. The DDOC5 is ok but I don't like the on off switching for the fans .. I Prefer PWM control wink.gif

I have to be careful .. I almost bought a couple of 7900GTX's and a PhysX card for it .. I think I have a problem

STOP PRESS!! My parts just arrived !!! so upgrade this weekend .. w00t!!!

Gee I wonder if the board is reading that incorrectly tongue.gif

Man the stacker is a very sweet looking case, might be my next case unless someting better is out.
(n1ce_hat)
some more pics of my machine

i ordered my Plextor SATA DVD-Burner like a LONG time ago on ebay, and it should be here sometime this week.. so less IDE cables in my case very shortly, and once i get my raptor (about a month) i'll be IDE-less.. thank god.. i bent a pin on my 160GB WD IDE last nite and i wanted to stab the inventor of PATA in the face. [i kid, i kid..]

Custom 80mm fan grill, the Heartagram from the band HIM is on my power supply's exhaust fan.. I have a huge stock of these if anyone needs (custom made)..

Sure is reading correctly .. TEC cooling my friend wink.gif Next best thing to Phase change.
UncleDavid218
Uhh I doubt it. Your GPU temps are in the 30s and your CPU temps are -8c? On the same loop? No way. Are you using the DFI ITE sensors or your own? If they are your own then I believe it.

There's 226W of Peltier cooling on the CPU. The GPU Temps are so low because they are water cooled, they used to be around 80deg at load on std air cooling now load GPU temps don't get over 40deg usually arond the 35deg mark. The CPU used to be around 2deg idle and 24 deg at load before I removed the IHS from the CPU. Now it is -8 to -6 at idle and 4deg at full load. The DFI sensors are in use and I have confirmed the temps with a fluke probe and the back of the mobo behind the CPU ices up biggrin.gif The Water cools the hot side of the Peltier and the cold side of the peltier is on the CPU dye.

It currently is not an Expert board, the Venus goes in on the weekend.
UncleDavid218
Well then if you backed it up with a probe then sweet temps! smile.gif

Ta smile.gif I was amazed by the temperature difference in removing the IHS. 20deg drop at load!! biggrin.gif

Still at standard clocks and voltages. The 7800's are the only things I have OC'd so far.

Danger Den make a "Stacker Adapter" to replace the grill on the bottom of the Stacker case.

Well my 3500+ Clawhammer was hating air cooling so Heres what I end up with for a WC'ing setup...
D-Tek 120 pro rad with shroud
Yate Loon 120mm x 25mm D12SL-12 Fans - 47 CFM, 28dB
White water CPU block
Swiftech MCP655 pump-Max head 10 ft (3.1 m) Max discharge 317 GPH (1200 LPH)
Danger Den filport
1/2" ID tubing

Pump arrives tomarrow biggrin.gif

I also received a replacement PSU from Antec so I'm replacing the modular PSU with
the antec 550 Truepower 2.0 We shall see if replacing the modular helps my OC'ing

I'm having a hard time with this camera, I'll have to get a better one. Here's the best of the 20 or so pics I just took, trying to get a decent close up.

hey dab u shoulda killed the flash on that last pic. it's BRIGHT! either way seems like ur rig is pretty similar to one i'm building(in sig). still waitin on the mobo and the opty to be delivered...maybe you can help me hook up the front panel to the mobo later...looks like it's easy to mistake usb and ieee connections.

Wait for it, Wait for it, BAM, HAHAHAHAHA!

This is my baby..

My soundcard isnt there on the pictures because it got fried yesterday..

Please comment, first build.

Is there a reason you don't have the floppy connector below the CPU plugged in?
I realize you are not running SLI but it is highly recommended for system stability.

Does look like a nice job of cable management.
Is there no grill or filter for the front two fans?
Seems like they will suck in a lot of debris without something in place.
NForcer
Heres my blue baby, its a little different now, but nothing crazy, just no case fans now, different psu, and differnet mobo, other than that, same setup.

Dont you see it?

Ofcourse i have filters but i dont know where they are  , only know where 2 are, and they are above the 2 fans..

I dont like wire messes so, i had to do something about it.

I'm glad you guys liked my setup, I love this thread to beable to see everyone's cool setup's. Besides looking for a new case to replace my aging thermaltake, I am looking for a good watercooling system because the one I just bought is a cooling kit thats just not doing aswell as I wanted it to. I will post another pick when I get my triple monitor stand and put my other 2005 dell on it. I have been waiting on that OCZ Cryo-Z I have heard so much about but I do not think it is coming out anytime soon and I really wanted super cooler sooooooo bad. Anyone have an idea on a case with a great cooling system built in that actually works? Anyway thanks again.
UncleDavid218

I need to take some new pictures. These are from 6 months ago.

That was with temporary Corsair Value Select, 450w OCZ Modstream, EVGA 6600GTs in SLI (and not all of the proper power connections plugged in)

Hey, ive thought for a while about putting the harddrives in the other harddrive bay, because when i have the computer in the window they become soo cold (10-20) and so on, so well now i have them "up there"..

The Junk...

Empty?

Other hdd bay..

Now thats cooling!

Now thats a fresh Vanilla filled Donut ! ! !

Mess or not?

You can now see the other 3 slot harddrive holder.. 90mm fan blowing towards them and then to the other 90 that blows up! up up and away!

Btw can you see where the SATA cables go? biggrin.gif

Again..

Done and Done!

Sweet looking setup UncleDavid218

opps I'll have one of those donuts too Moscow

i just have to show you my homebrew case made by me from the ground up i posted here before but not on this thread and i thought well why not
it runs at 5 degrees over ambient and can be near silent the work log is coming but i have to do it backwards
so when ever you need a new case why not make it yourself it's fun

That's one awesome case right there. What I love about it is that it's a real utilitarian design, kind of like a cross between a server and a modded desktop.

thats a big case!
