ps im gonna uploadmore cause my pro is playing online

heh, your micro makes the case look as big as my Stacker. wierd trickery on me eye balls, lol.

every thought of water cooling it? a lot less worries with summer heat that way.

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f164/dejvv/00041088.jpg

its a bit much better biggrin.gif

p.s. i know it suck smile.gif
before i bought my Cooler Master Stacker, i was looking at ThermalTakes stuff. but nothing had the room i wanted for my water cooling and future Phase Change, that is if OCZ comes through with it.

still they have some nice cases, the Xazer just isn't my taste. have you looked at the TT Armor? thats the one i was thinking about, but got the CM Stacker instead. i think the Armor has spaces built in for their own water cooling kits. just some thoughts on cases. if you already have it picked out, then forget about my ramblings, lol

but its still dusty!!! i wiped it off before i take the shot, i clean it up with rubbing alcohol, it is shiny right before i took it, but then by the time i set up my tripod, take the shot... POOF! it looks like its been playing on the beach the whole day.

is it becoz my camera has too many megapixels (4 only) or my room is dusty... lol feels like the static is pulling all the surrounding dusts sad.gif

If you use the flash, anything will look dusty. I'm not sure if there's a practical use for the flash (it's not a total waste, I've taken good pics with the flash but not of the computer nor any models or anything), but I find it's always better to have very good light on your target and turn the flash off.

hehe, toom any mega pixels aye..... likely story. wink.gif

my 'rents have a finepix 5.1 and i can turn the resolution down to 2mp ... me? i just have a 1.3 finepix pt my webcam. it takes nice enough pix. altho i am half blind (for real), so i don't see as much as others.

you ever see Endust for Electronics Anti Static Dusting Spray? it works wonders for electronics. in your case, case lol, in your case it should work very well as it cleans yet is anti static so it doesn't collect dust.

if u like modding it, i recommend "plain" themed cases, like the silverstone Temjin TJ04. or anything that doesnt have too many bells n whistles.

i agree i like to mod it myself to give that "unique" look, instead of buying them ready made. thats why i chose the TJ06 Temjin. black, sleek, and (other than the front grill) plain. with superb finish.

and that is also why i hate the thermaltake xaser series biggrin.gif they're too...... bling2....... lol

a modder would say a good case is a blank case. lemme kno if u need any help modding it smile.gif

i thought the $181 case looked decent tho. over here in the states it's about $90~$100

i bought my CM Stacker + Crossflow for about $220

ya, thats another thing, i don't use my flash when i take pix of my case. it really kills the colours with the gama

i take a bright light, about 100watt and lay it behind me so it lights up my case. then i make sure i'm not making a shadow, lol then i snap away.

i totally agree RB... it's one reason why i love my Stacker.

since you can buy replacement parts, which is another reason i love my Stacker, since you can buy them i cut off somethings, like the 80mm side door fan and the mounts for an unobstructed view and later i'm going to make a slightly larger circle cut around the mech circle side and take some clear acrylic and epoxy it to the back side of the door. they do have pre-made doors with windows in them, but who want that! lolol

as in 20/100 vision. 20/200 is legally blind and 20/400 is totally blind. going by my last 8 years of eye tests, i'll be pretty much legally blind in 10 years.

incase people don't know 20/20 is considered "perfect vision". this is sayig at 20ft it looks like the object is 20ft away. for me, when i look at that same object, it looks like it's 100ft away.

but then again, on ur pics, i never saw u with glasses..... tongue.gif u wear contacts? u might look cuter with gla....errr... OKAY back on topic.................................

yessssssss $45 is very good price. definitely worth it.

but i'll take TGM's word and repaint the whole damn thing to give it a simpler colour-tone. u can use 1 colour, or 2 colour combination, instaed of the default rainbow theme.......

its a cool case .. ill just mod it a bit ( paint ,maybe cut a bit the top for a 120mm 240volts fan)
Redbeaver
i'll get a pic of my previous "baby"... couple years back the paint was silky smooth black, with the exception of a few rundowns and "orange skin" effect.... with manually hacked left panel with engraved dragon on the acrylic. but after a few years the paint was to thick, so opening the panels will damage the paint, then since i didnt Gloss it, it has many scratches etc. Internally also painted, in black.

its hard to strip it to bare metal, prime it twice, then coat it about 5 thin layers, then wax the end result. u will get bumps and scratches and uneven coats if its ur first time painting.

its even harder to take care of it once ur done.

lol.... i gave the idea 2 my bro... and helped him doing it ... lemme try and find a pic of it... cheap and effective
General Septem
I almost bought a gigantic (like 200 mm or something, I don't remember exactly) fan when I was at the local electronics surplus store. Man, they've got a ton of stuff in there. But then I looked at the voltage rating and realized it would burn out my PSU if I tried to use it, lol
dejv
he connected it to the psu but directly as if it is connected with a plug
my bro's pc.

the fan is in the top ( 240volts)

I'm anxiously waiting until reviews and user experiences are posted for the Venus to assist my decision on which DFI board to get. I am leaning towards the SLI-DR (non-expert) due to the orientation of the memory slots which would receive very good cooling from the crossflow fan.

In the meantime, I have the Asus A8N-SLI Premium as a temporary solution (I can't complain really, got it for free! biggrin.gif ).

w0w, how does your system run with the bottom fan of your cpu sink right on the back of you vid card?

it should cool the vid card down a touch, but then you're sucking in the hot air off the backside of your vid card, which is pretty hot.

unless you have both fans setup for a pull airflow instead of a push ariflow.

TGM
ebdoradz
both card are pushing, and the temp are ok, i mean even if i play game the temp nver get higher then 40°C on the cpu, the 6600GT isnt running that hot and the airflow in that case is more then enough, so air isn't a problem right now, those thermaltake fan push 56 CFM and they are always running 2500rpm on the cpu sink...

the 120mm fan on the case back side, is a silverstone teck, and it can move up to 103cfm when its at is full spin, and the Hyper 580W PSU got a 120mm+80mm then i got a 80mm that is pushing fresh air from the outside right between the chipet and the Power area (how ever its spell)

maybe i can turn the fan to see if its get cooler i might give a try when i got a few min to remove the vid card

wink.gif

thnx for you reply

Why not? Maybe he plans on buying another GPU in the future.... and if not I don't see how it will hurt his system.
red930

ebdoradz, I'm still having trouble figuring out why you modded your board to SLI.

Possibly the same reason lots of other forum members did...

for the learning experience or to prepare for a future SLI upgrade.

If you're gonna take the chipset HSF off to add AS5 or just change the TIM, you might as well do the mod at the same time.
UncleDavid218
Both of you have valid points, but it seems voiding your warranty for no gain is pointless.

i would understand if he had another card on the way, etc.

but im a hardware enthusiast, and do and buy a lot of things "because i can" so i guess i would be hypocritical in saying that.
ebdoradz
i did it to see if it was working on my board, and i can remove the mod, i use a defrost repair kit, and i can took the piece of "liquid" copper whne i want,

if the board die one day i will remove it, and put the heatsink back in place

why ppl are buying SLI Board and they are running on ATI card???

because they wanted the SLI card for the bundle and stuff, i mod my board, because i wanted to mod, it and maybe add a vid card, maybe my g/f would buy me on for my b-day

Soon i'll be purchasing an Opteron 165 to replace this 3000+ as well as a new 74GB Raptor since this WDC400 is slow as a camel.

Note: Probably this weekend or so i'll do alittle cable cleaning in there, more harddrive sata cable then anything else.

Note: See my Cinderella shoes in the bottom left corner, yeah i'm an obsessive compulsive kind of guy, what can i say....
