Looks good. For the big circle on the side panel, is it just an hole or is it clear acrylic ?

That is a piece of clear acrylic I cut with a dremel I had to also drill the holes for the mounting screws as well .The top is glass ( from a picture frame ) .
Thank You I am glad you like it . there will be more when I get the new HSF installed soon .

OK, here goes, a few pics of my current rig...

My reverse mounted drives... before I got my HX620W...

A couple 7900GTXs in SLi :-) again before the new PSU

My Software Fan Controller:

and finally the whole shebang:

All the case screws have now been replaced with nylon thumbscrews from smallparts.com

My next project is to take the whole freaking thing to pieces so that I can cut the panel that the MB mounts to in two pieces, and mount a continuous hinge (already purchased from smallparts.com) all the way up so that a "door" swings open to allow access to the other side of the drive cage... cause I tell you what, it's a pain in the donkey to get at the other side...

Also a few more cables to finish sleeving when I get time... I'm too stubborn to pay for a molex pin tool so it takes me a little longer to poke the pin catches with a needle :-)

Also need to get some nylon nuts so I can mount the fans with plastic thumbscrews as well... I want every piece of case hardware to be plastic eventually... except maybe the screws holding on the handles.... tried nylon for those ones once already.... didn't turn ut so well, ask my big toe... luckily nothing broke... my toe was ok too :-)

The sweetness has arived !

the 4 pin is only if you have two video cards. and what black thing..? the black thing on the tuniq? well my fans were mounted the wrong way and i didn't want to take it out to unscrew it so i just flipped it. anyways...its coming off on sat for lapping the cpu. i'm just running tests right now. so far i'm at 3420mhz @ 1.4v, load @ 46 degrees.

You sure about that? After a little searching i found this:

The PCIE12V power connector accepts a 4-pin MOLEX connector from the PSU, and is used to supply extra power to the video slots when high performance cards are in use in the system.

Original source

So with a 7300 you are probably fine but with even one high end card you should plug it in.
1dr1ft
yea i didn't plug it in cause i have a 7300, i was aware of that. anyways...thanks for checking.
Raiderfan001
Thanks for informing me of what it was for lol.

Oh and nice OC. I hope mine does that well. I'm only at 3060 right now(limited by the stock cooler).
momoceio
My DQ6 manual says it's only needed for use with dual video cards...
SuppA-SnipA_merged
uh uh high end cards need the extra power simple
and to keep it simpler, if the plug is there i'd use it smile.gif
steelballzz
well
i managed to build up a complete rig to play some C&C3...lets see how long it takes to sell the parts.....

the stacker is a great case.......but that you all know already.....

Feel kind of.. small, posting my standard-ish case with no mods next to everyone else that posted, but i'm proud of my dfi rig, damit, and i want to show people, so, here it is.
I'll start it off with my rig, descripton and specs first, then picture.
And yes i know my signature is out-dated, i'll get it updated soon, but we're required to have one to post, so, i'm using it, cute fox too.
And to your questions, no there are not any SLI 7300GT's in these pictures, i accidently destroyed one, and the other i gave as a gift to a nice co-worker.
Both the 7300's were replaced by the GTX beast.

DFI LanParty Nforce4 SLI-DR
AMD Opteron 185 Socket 939 (dual core 2.6 @ 2860mhz, 1.58v, 220mhz fsb)
2gb Kingston KTH-D530/1G (DDR400 1gbx2 @ 440mhz, 2.8v, 2.5-3-3-5-12)
Asus nVidia 8800GTX, fully stock settings, for now. Will take it apart and apply arctic silver 5, test temps, see if i can play around with OC'ing it this coming tues - thurs. Need time off work to sit down and take it apart properly, and the cleaning stuff, etc.
Intel Pro 1000 PT PCI Express Gigabit NIC
Currently using single sata drive, WD5000KS, 500gb, 7200 rpm, 16mb buffer.
Tuesday, i'll be buying a Dell Perc4eDC PCI Express Ultra320 RAID card with 256M DDR caching, and setting up a raid array with 4x seagate ST373207lw (73.4gb, ultra-320, 10k rpm, 8mb buffer) probably raid5 or raid0, depending on which offers higher throughput.
Antec P-180 chassis.
ThermalTake ToughPower 650w modular PSU.
Thermalright XP-120 CPU Cooler with antec case fan.
PCI Sound Blaster Audigy 4.

Looks like a Mountain Mods case. Nice cases but $$$.

Kithylin - Looks good you just need to do some wire management...lol
Kithylin
not alot i can do with this case, they're all round, so, just let em hang, nothing gets hot anyway.
allthatwhichis
Just wanted to show off my newest h2o addition. I just got a 3x120mm radiator and went from 3/8in tubing to 1/2in. Dropped my loaded temp from 62C to 51C!!! But it was a bitch to install...

Moving the radistor outside cleared up a lot of space inside though.

I can never seem to get a "t" to work well. I had no room for my res with the rad on top, tubing issues... I had to fill everything up and hook it up quick like so not to sill anything. It is done now and I can go for 3G much easier. I'd have it already if the power hadn't gone out as I was sleeping last night. This new rad works wonders though... I just need to get 3 more fans for it. rolleyes.gif

My new puter

Looks real good, puts mine to shame

These last two were taken with my camera phone since my kid smashed my camera, excuse the craptacular image quality.

That VFD looks sweet, I'll have to get that eventually, as well as the flip-out LCD and a secondary ITX board. Just love these cases, I don't think I will ever get bored with it.
MsB
Man I like those cases! Looks good Reelfiles smile.gif
ReelFiles
Thanks, those pics are a little older, my X-FI and the OCZ RAM i bought from you aren't even installed yet. I also have some subtle ultraviolet lighting in the case that just didn't show up on the camera phone. I can fit 3 more 120mm fans in there, I want to get 4 though so all of them match. The one in front of the hard drive cage is a self controlled variable speed fan, but I don't care much for it.
schoolslave
My big mess. lol.

AnUnknownSource
lol, mine looks similar to that half the time... I'm not one to just get everything together and leave it alone... I like to play.... lol

nice lanparty logo on the PSU though... is that a sticker or is that a DFI product I don't know about?
schoolslave
lol. Its a sticker and its my uber-pwning 160W PSU to power those fans. Seriously, I was disappointed when my Corsair PSU couldnt handle the extra load of 6 fans......
ReelFiles
I can run my 8 120mm fans off mine, but I got a spare 90W mini ITX PSU that fits nicely in the right side of my case. You could probably fit one in 2 ODD bays or so.
Raiderfan001
Your PSU should be able to handle six fans just fine. Maybe you had too many things on one rail? IDK I would try to spread the load out if you haven't already.
schoolslave
I tried to have each of the 3x Molex connector cables power 3 fans, which would mean two separate cables of 3x Molex connectors for all 6 fans. I pushed the power button, the lights went on and off again like two seconds later. So, I unplugged some fans and it started working. And now Im running 3 fans off the Corsair PSU and 3 off the little one. Whats really weird is that it can power 3 fans on one of those cables, but it cant handle two of the cables powering all six fans. I hope that made sense.lol.
ReelFiles
Sure you don't have a short on one of those fans? Sounds like a messed up connection to me, especially if you're piggy backing them off each other. I would turn on the PSU and plug the fans in one by one, to see if it happens with the same one. If it's only a bad female end you can just put it at the end of the 'chain' wink.gif Try it on your secondary PSU first, wiggling the connections to check for any problems.
schoolslave
I already tried that. They all work separately and in various combos of 3x on one cable, both molex cables work fine, just when I hook up 4 of em the system wont turn on.
sherbanater
Heres my new set up...The pic of the case is a couple years old but it cools pretty well so I just pulled out my my old DFI set up and made a new one...

thoughts and comments welcome. My Scythe CPU Cooler and Gigabyte VGA Cooler are on there way so I will post again with better pics soon.

My old DFI set up went to my son in a new case that I really liked but I will stick to my TT.

You really should either make them smaller or thumbnail them; the mods/admins don't take kindly to large photos and often replace them with the 800x600 image of shame.
Raiderfan001
You might want to resize those before you feel the wrath of an angry gamer lol
Reckless
I've felt that before, when I first registered & didn't read the rules about needing a Sig with system spec's. I got banned for a week. sad.gif I'll update the post when I get home.

heres my rig with new scythe CPU Cooler and Gigabyte Cyclops VGA Cooler.
