I bought this case from AceGoober for $50 shipped , even though he said there is slight cosmetic damage on one of the sides, I have yet to find it. The case was in excellent condition, almost looks brand new.


I had to cut the bottom front PSU "support" bar, it was in the way of the modular connectors.

I Used some old 80mm fans from my Acrylic Logisys case, they are actually pretty quiet.


XP-90 with Sunon fan. I added another Sunon fan across from the chip set after the picture was taken, they are not as loud as I was told they were going to be. Then again I don't mind a little noise, I wouldn't put a Suzuki muffler on a Harley. I reversed the the rear fan to exhaust air, which I usually have blowing into the case. I also reversed the XP-90 as AceGoober suggested, even though now I can't change my RAM without removing the heat sink. That actually decreased my load temps by thanks Ace; You da man!

Where did y'all find those LCD screens for the front and side? Are they hard to setup?

Intake is probably the best way right now...

I would suggest doing what I'm going to be doing soon...Spray painting the entire interior of your case...=)

i think its interior is painted in silver so that heat can reflect ( i m not that good in physics)

Physics wont matter when dealing with such a small amount of heat...the paint will not increase to decrease temps either way....I have thought about doing this plent of times...but after spending a week paint just the outside of my case...I couldnt stand to wait another week or so to paint the inside....

If you have a case that the inside is entirely metal...and can be separated from the outside very easily...see if you can take to a shop and have it powder coated...basically the paint will be burnt on the the metal...thus no hassel of painting and so on...unless you enjoy that kinda thing....

Not as risky as youd think, the jerker (name of my desk) is very sturdy and definitely top of the line. Thought I still have my doubts, thats why I buying a new case a such for less weight and better cable managing.
My reason for putting it up was just spur of the moment. I didnt want it on the floor, and I disliked it on my desk since it took up alot of space. So I figured Id move my imperial star destroyer over (yes I love legos ) and put it up there.

The chassis was modified to accept 2, 120mm Panaflo L1A intake fans and 2, 92mm Panaflo L1As exhaust fans. Chassis has "HD" logo window in bottom and was powdercoated Orange. Lian LI V2000 castor wheels with cnc milled alum flames. Airbushed flames and HD logo by Lin Anderson. Modified Sunbeam fan controller with custom airbrushing. Many more mods. I just keep forgeting them all!

Two questions. How did you manage to get the FSB up to 260 without increasing the voltage at all? And also, why are you WCing your chipset?

i guess he got it to that without upping the voltage because of the w.c. chipset

I got a chip that will go to 2.6GHz on stock voltage, but no more no matter how high I raise the voltage! Luck, I guess

And the chipset is watercooled because...

Well there isn't any reason, really.

The Evercool VC-RE could do the same job for cheaper, and being watercooled won't raise my overclocks...

So I'm not sure about my reasoning behind it!

Right now it's an air setup but I plan on going water as well as SLi eventually.. I was really surprised how little room this case actually had.. I'm really going to be scratching my head when it comes to adding water to this system later on. The Jing Ting chipset cooler is amazing and I have positioned properly to add that second card later.. chipsets at 48c under almost all circumstances. The case is quiet and keeps things cool, I really enjoyed this build.

You have a v2000! it's all roooooom. Once I got my v1000 I wished I had just gotten the v2000. I put the PC in a new spot and I could have easily fit the 2000.. When I get around to water for this thing I think it's gonne be a nightmare.

I kinda miss my V1000, I like how compact and smooth it looks. The size of the V2000 almost outweighs how awesome it really is.

But you're right though, I'd never have gotten watercooling in that thing...never had a complaint on room in this beast either.

the inside of that looks really clean man and you don't even have a window. Do they make a windowed side panel for that case?

Unmodded case, messy cables. (I just cleaned them up, yes, thats clean for me.)
