Is it possible to replace my fan in my power supply with a led fan? What would I need to do?

I think you would have to get a fan that has a 3-pin connector or take a 4 to 3-pin adapter and cut the wire off the fan that is already in the power supply and wire it up to the 3-pin cable because in my power supply the connectors are like a 2-pin or something so I don't think you would be able to find the connector but yes you could do it with a little wiring work.

well, if the fan is just on there with a 3pin connector, just get a led fan wit a 3pin connector, or get a 4 to 3 pin connector and use that. if the fans wires are soldiered onto the board, cut the 2 wires. then cut the wires for the led fan and connect them to wires u just cut (that are connected to the psu). if u need more detail or want me to draw u a picture, just say so.

ya its pretty simple to do if you think about it for a little bit.

don't worry about adapters, etc.....
basic wiring 101... open PSU (careful it is still charged DAYS after turning it off... find fan. disconnect fan.... cut red wire, cut black wire.... install new fan... splice red wire, splice black wire.
and presto... a new fan.... keeps it much cleaner..
also for other fans in the case.. much cleaner to wire directly... less wires/adpaters in your case = better airflow

exaclty, but if the fan is connected by a 3 pin adapter, it would be much easier to just unplug it and plug in another fan. IF it has a 3pin plug.

Exscuse me for butting in but from my experience most PSU fans i've seen are only 2 wire (red and black). Usually these are soldered to the pc board inside the PSU. It's not very difficult to replace the fan, just be sure to check if your PSU fan is 2 wire or otherwise then get a compatible fan. (You also may want to check the voltage, I've run into both 5v and 12v power supply fans.) After you have your fan grab the nearest soldering iron (make sure it's not the hot part done that before!) and melt the solder connections of the old fan and resolder the connections for the new fan. (You might have to strip part of the insulation of the new fan wires, you only need about 1/8th of an inch of wire exposed to make a good connection.) Now test and make sure it all works then reassemble the PSU.

just get a fan with a molex or 3pin and run it out with the rest of the wires coming out of the psu.

you can just cut the wire and solder it its really not that hard match red to red and green to green

Can't beat that, Justinal.
