What's a good case.
Price/performance wise.
and a power supply also.

well i would say go with a "chieftech", they are made by termaltake, chieftech, ....
they are kinda big, but that makes you able to mod it, cool it, .. very good.
if you want a smaller case, go with a lian-li.

prices are all the same. just watch you buy a alluminium case, instead of a steel one. steel ones are just to heavy.
for the PS, it depends on how much you are going to install, and mod. if you are going to install much :
450-550W
if you arent: just 350-420 smile.gif

i have a lian li. it was the first 'name brand' case i bought and was pleasantly suprised by the quality. everything fit perfectly, lots of extra hardware, thumbscrews everwhere. the removable m/b tray is nice too.

the down side is, they can be expensive. you can look on ebay...there's usually good deal there. power supply too. i got a enermax 350w on ebay for like $50.

I just got a Kingwin case. I dont like many of the other cases because they got those flimsy plastic front panels, and you gota upen them to get to the cd-rom, etc... Kingwin is awesome, its all aluminum, 3 clear panels (sides and top), it got a fan in the top window, with led's. And it has front panel USB, Firewire, and Audio/Microphone. Comes with 5 fans all together.
I love it biggrin.gif

Yeah the Kingwin cases are nice but the chieftec have a lot more room.

do you lan? if you do the best option would have to be the lanboy : good balance of portability and usefullness.. however if you are hardcore overclocker (which i am not) and open up to work in your comp all day, get the chieftech it is what i have it is nice..

i have a green chieftech see pic
it is bigger but better than any other case except maybe new alienware case that thing is sick as hell wish i could get that case without buying a 43 thousand dollar pc from them what a ripoff

i really like it. but the colors.. why green and blue. if you kept everything green, would have been better (personal opinion) smile.gif

What about somethign less,
like in the 50-100 US$ range.
Like a Nikao?
Cause I don't want something crazy.
I just want somethign better than what I have now, which is heavy, loud, and only has slot for one case fan.

the chieftech is a awesome case and its cheap too! i just picked up another to build a game server and it was only 50 + 20 freight
i thought that wasn't to bad

my case was only like 45 bucks with window and like 15 bucks for shipping so not a bad price at all and it came with i think 3 fans @ www.buyxg.com
their shipping takes a little longer than most sites but you can't beat the price .
whoever asked why i chose green with blue lights i chose these colors because they llok awesome
it is so sweet with the blue inside it sets it apart green would be too much and clashy but you are entititles to your own opinoin anyone with an opinion to add.
