So have the birds laid eggs in that nest yet? tongue.gif

Seriously though, I hadn't seen one of these before. It looks really handy if you do a lot of work on your system. Seems like a great idea for some of our reviewers smile.gif

The zip-tied fill line is my favorite biggrin.gif

Opps quoted myself. tongue.gif I got that other PCIE cable up there ready for my other video card that will be here Tuesday. I am going to try Crossfire on there but will probably order the GA X38 DS4 shortly afterwards...

that's what I miss most about Texas. Being able to go outside on the weekend and have a cookout in the middle of winter. You have a cookout around here and you'll freeze your yinyang off.

I should get one of these lol... I almost always run a rig on a mobo box... proves quite tricky with water so I usually run that rig on air... looks a lot neater than my desk at the moment lol... man, I should take a picture cos you probably couldn't even imagine how bad it is laugh.gif

here you go, hardnrg torture rack:

and the whole amazing "workstation" rofl:

That's a "feature". They're seriously sold like that.

Also... there is NO WAY I could live with my desk like that. That would drive me insane.

What are you talking about 'lo? We've had some random 60-70 degree weather almost every week tongue.gif

That is a pretty sweet case, combines the abilities of a solid case with the freedom of having a box "case." I've had a few rigs on a box a few times... it's harder than it looks, harder than having it in a case sometimes. It gets pretty tricky trying to route power and data to devices and not exceeding cable legnth... without them falling over tongue.gif
j2t
there's a rack in there somewhere? lol, seriously that would be quite handy to have one, though could be a bad thing with kids and nosy fingers... blink.gif
cchalogamer
You've got nothin' on me smile.gif

Server a few weeks ago b4 cleaning

Server not too long after it moved to the bookshelf (back when it was still single core)

My optical drives dont even need a case

Main rig's also caseless, however I need to clean up b4 taking pics of this nightmare smile.gif I have drives, video cards and water gear EVERYWHERE.

yeah, it's an MX518... I think it's holographic/colour-shifting paint... it's not actually dented, but looks pretty convincing eh! lol

I can see racks like that coming in handy. NRG's and cchalogamer's might be cheaper and easier to put together but I doubt he can just pick it up and carry it around haha

Verran beat me to, its DD Torture Rack, on a side note I think I just got a better Quad for the Forum wars. I just got this one a couple hours ago, it has yet a lower VID than my other best Quad. I quickly put it on my P35 DQ6 with the stock cooler just to see what VID it was. I run prime 95 at 3.2 and then 3285 with 1.2 volts until it reached about 68c then it would fail. I booted into windows at 3.6 with 1.3v and run prime 95 but its to hot with the stock cooler. I will have to put it under water tomorrow....

LOL, wow. I wondered what I was doing wrong all these years. Silly me buying all those cases when I had a perfectly good table to put the parts on. Sheesh, what was I thinking. smile.gif

Actually there was good reason for it, the drive was at the time the only spare I had sitting around, however it decided that it wasnt going to eject the CD (Memtestx86 at the time). Well to make it worse the paperclip eject button thingy as also jammed with whatever had the drive stuck, the origional plan was to fix it, put it together and go back to business. Yeah well...I was in a hurry smile.gif

And looking at it spin during the install was just to priceless, I actually have a video too smile.gif

I agree that I couldn't have things setup in such a messy way.

I suppose I do have a rather curious cat, but running on the motherboard box is something I reserve for troubleshooting only.

This is how my desk looks at the moment, and for me this is messy:

hardnrg
What a mess! rolleyes.gif laugh.gif

I agree, that is disgusting jammin, don't you ever clean?
