OK, for those of you browsing, you know I have posts in many sections asking opinions on my new build.

Here is what I have so far:
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale CPU
Gigabyte P35-DS4 vs ASUS P5N32-E Mobo
EVGA GeForce 8800GT/GTS 512mb Video
Crucial Ballistix DDR2 SDRAM 800 (4GB)
Antec 900 case.
Existing drives but going to buy a new HDD...

I have a decent powersupply in my existing case that I was planning on keeping, and I really haven't paid attn to power changes/needs.
I currently have a quality Enermax ED465P, total power 435watts

My question here is, do I need a new power supply for that setup?

I think you'd be pushing it even at stock volts/speed depending on the number of drives

get a PCP&C Silencer 610

Yea, I'd upgrade that. The OCZ GameXStream 600W would be a neat choice smile.gif

The rig in my sig only draws ~400 at load...that's an OC'd quad and OC'd 8800GTS G92 (plus I have 3 total SATA HDD's). Enermax makes decent PSU's so I don't think you HAVE TO upgrade but it certainly wouldn't hurt.
