Correcting my mistake...

Thermaltake W0106Ru

ABS TAGAN BZ Series

Corsair CMPSU-620HX

1. Are the 700s overkill for these parts?

AMD 64 X2 6000+
MSI-NX8600GTS-oc
Corsair Twin2X2048-6400C4HDX

Not sure what motherboard to get yet.
Gigabyte GA-MA790FX

MSI K9A2 Platinum

ASUS M3A32-MVP DELUXE

2. ABS has this featuer.
Hi-Pot Tested Short circuit protection on all outputs Over Current Protection Over Voltage Protection

do the others have it or something similar?

Thanks.

700W is overkill for those parts, like you said. I like the Corsair one myself. Actually, you could even get the Corsair 520 and be just fine.

the 700 will be overkill for the parts your getting now, but if you go dual gpu like you mentioned.....you will be "future proofed" with the 700. im sure 520 watts would work, but most have 600 or more with dual gpu. just whatever you do, if you get the thermaltake....make sure its a toughpower, the non-toughpower Tt's are junk.

I would grab the Corsair HX520W, that should last you for SLIed 8600GTS cards as well smile.gif
