Advertise for Quad-core and dual-gpu configs and put in a 550W PSU...yeah, that makes sense rolleyes.gif

Now THAT is interesting! A case, that is VERY close to silent, which has enough power for high end systems? If they only looked a little better, I might get myself one...

@ clay, a good 550W PSU is enough for higher end SLI even.

Thats what they say, maybe someday, someone will do a review and see if it will...

I also don't understand the use of 80mm fans instead of 120mm. Yeah, I'd like to see a review, specifically measuring noise levels.

Clay, have you ever used the Artic Cooling 80mm fans? They are quieter than most 120mm's I have!

How much air does it cycle? 120mms have the advantage of pushing more air at less decibles.

withstupid.gif Exactly my point. No doubt their 80mm are good compared to other 80mm's, but they could do even better with 120's.

28cfm, true about less air, but I'd be glad for a little higher temps with a lot less noise (there must be a reason the cases are called Silentium!)

A quality 550 psu is plenty for even overclocked dual card rigs. Good power supplies are rated at their sustaned wattage, not short 10 second spike wattage like some cheap PSUs. My powerstream 520 doesnt even hiccup with dual overclocked x1900XTs, tons of high cfm fans, 1ghz cpu oc, two harddrives, cdrom, burner, lights, etc etc. All on a single 12v rail. It is 60 second rated at 650watts peak load - I bet thats enough to be labled as a cheapo 700 watter, even though it was released as a 520.

It may be a gen or two behind, but it proves that a good quality psu can handle a lot more then most people would think.

80mm fans can easily be fixed with a dremel smile.gif
