How much do you obsess about wire management, thermal paste, etc.? I have this thing where I always have to make sure that my application of thermal paste is perfect. Right now I am fighting as hard as I can to not pull out my motherboard and re-seat and re-thermal my Tuniq Tower. I just got it. What a pain in the butt that is. I would have to pull out the entire mobo, take off the Tuniq, clean the thermal paste and redo everything. I also have an obsession with wire management, I always want to change it and make it better. When will it all end?!?!



Should I just redo the Tuniq for fun?

Not at all for me. May be time to seek professional help on that or go to some 12 step meetings

Are you high? I applied it once at the start, and done, my cable management is always terrible, just good enough to get by.

you must not that ocd if your not going to do it or already done it. me on the other hand everything must be perfect i make my bed as soon as i get up must be perfect. anything i do with my case must be perfect and i mean anything if the tower is setting just a little offset i have to fix it.

I figured modding because of the obsessive nature of perfecting a rig that I am alluding to.

I wouldn't worry about you being ocd unless you check to make sure that the heatsink is not on crooked daily or something like that. At that point start worrying.

Dont ever get a job as a computer technican...I used to be like that...but after working inside literally hundreds if not in the thousands of computers, I've given up.

I used to regularly dust out the inside of my Lian LI V1000..... Yeah that habbit is gone.

I used to buid a new computer every 5-6months for my personal use... Thats gone.

still on my old 939 X2 3800+ and x850xt..

I want to upgrade my video card for the new games coming out but im worried about my processor being a bottle neck.


All my lack of interest in computers could be because ive moved on to bigger and better things....girlfriend, cars, muay thai...work...college.


But cars and girls are stupid expensive hobbies, I need cheaper ones :/

I was all hyped getting the X2 6000+, but after working with Dell GX1 - GX745 PCs all day long, my A64 4000+ is GOD speed! =D

Well come on the practice of pulling off your CPU cooler to re-apply AS-5 isn't obsessive it is foolish the more you do this the more you increase the odds of some unforseen accident. Me thinks you should go do some more physical activities if this is really true. Now as to the constantly looking to improve wire management... Well this is a good thing Any time you are looking in your case and you get an idea to make it look neater which certainly makes it look nicer but may actually help with air flow well my friend this is a sign of good mental health!!! good on you for that trait.
Nothing makes me lose respect for someone faster than looking at some damn case they spent a fortune on and put lights in and brag about how great their system is and then you look in and it is a wiring mess. Makes me sick. I love it when they put in all those lights and a nice big window so you can see what an absolute lazy slob they are. . disgusting. If having a neat system is a sickness I'll take it anytime. So keep cleaning and improving.
