I bought my cheiftec maybe 6 years ago. its just an alum case thats flat black. and the panels are all painted in a flat black color as well.

But the problem is that my side window has a window in it with a fan also attached to it.. I want the computer looking stealth and have nothing showing off on the inside. So is there some place i can purchase the same exact flat black side window thats aluminum BUT with no plexi glass window in it?

heres my case... but in black:

and i want it to look like this with out the window:

There's really not much of a market for third-party case replacement parts, especially for a six year old case. I think you're going to have a very hard time finding that part.

The best bet is either to try and tint the window (which might look cool with a black case), or just paint the window, or pick up a new case.

yea you can, I think they have it at www.xoxide.com

Edit @ verran
The chieftec cases were/are very popular! I'm looking for the panel right now.

Edit2 @ sanosuke

http://www.xoxide.com/custom-chieftech-601-panel-black.html It's a custom one, but you could email them and see if they got the stock one.

email chieftec directly in Germany and request details of the nearest distributor/retailer

that's what I do, and guess what? that's what i DID do for my CHIEFTEC case... I got a free front panel/bezel/door when the case I received from an eBay dealer arrived damaged on one corner... Chieftec sent it to me for free, all I had to do was ask smile.gif

you might have to pay for a non-critical replacement, but at least you can get one

Chieftec cases are awesome, I have the same one @ sanosuke, just that it's a LITTLE heavier with the damming mats in there smile.gif
