I want to build a computer with an extensive water cooling system in it. I have found my pump, radiator, reservoir, and blocks, but I need a large case to house them in.

Here are the components of the cooling system so far:

pump: http://www.dangerden.com/store/product.php...t=26&page=1
radiator: http://www.dangerden.com/store/product.php...t=90&page=1
reservoir: http://www.dangerden.com/store/product.php...t=27&page=1

I want to cool the CPU, 2 GPU's, 6 HDD's, the north and south bridges, the RAM, and the voltage regulators.

I would like to be able to install the radiator internally, preferably at the top of the case.

Any idea of what case I could use?

either a coolermaster stacker 810 or a cube style case

will the stacker support 6 hard drives?

The CM has 11 5.25" bays and 4 hidden 3.5" drive bays. Using their 4-in-3 modules you could put 12 3.5" hard drives in the exposed bays and 4 more internally. That's room for 16 hard drives with room left over for two optical drives if you wanted.

would I be able to use this hard drive cooler if i used that configuration?

and could I install this radiator at the top?

if you don't think you can answer this, just give me your opinion.

why do you want to watercool your harddrives? I have 6 harddrives in my case

and they get up to about 37°C at the hottest... usually more like 32-35°C

watercooling harddrives should only be necessary if they are in an enclosed space with zero airflow (like inside an acoustical dampening chamber for silence)

most case manufacturers list case dimensions on the corresponding product page... from this you can determine whether or not the radiator will fit

manufacturers specs are handy

I just want to minimize the total amount of heat in my case. The hard drives I want are said to be fairly hot. I'll have 2 Raptor X's and 4 hitachi deskstar 7k1000's.

With those hard drive coolers you could mount them directly in the 5.25" bays and you wouldn't need the 4-in-3 modules. I don't know about the radiator. My CM Stacker case is one of the original, older models and you could easily mount a radiator on the floor of the case. It also has a spot for a cross-flow fan on the motherboard tray. Either one of those could probably be modded to handle a radiator if you wanted it mounted inside your case.

Okay, thanks. Hopefully I can fit that radiator in. It is 4 120mm fans, so it may be a tight fit.

Hey, the Thermaltake Armor series will do perfectly fine its HUGE and can support 6 drives im pretty sure, it has alot of drive bays.
And, you can do water cooling in it.
