Hello
I know I've asked this question in the past, but I'm looking again for a new PSU. The only trouble is that it must be cheap, but I also need one that will work decently. I know that is hard to come by but what options do I have? Any recommendations? I would prefer to spend around $75. As I cant really afford much more than that at this time. I'm looking for one that is at least 550W. As always thanks for the help

What are you looking to power with this PSU and do you want plenty of overhead for adding hardware in the future?

its for a P4 3.2 gHz with a GeForce 7600GS 512mb AGP 1 HDD 1 DVD some fans and whatnot. Nothing all that great...It would be nice if I could get one that will alow me to upgrade in the future but that isn't really all that important, because I would probably buy a new one for that rig and keep my old sys for a folding sys/server

Why would you want a 550W PSU for that rig? A decent 400W is already more than enough for that! I would recommend either of these:
Seasonic S-12 330W - 59,99$
Seasonic S-12 380W - 74,99$

I know they are kinna expensive, but you get what you pay for! Seasonic makes awesome PSUs that are nearly silent!

Yeah, the 330W should be just fine for a system like that.

You could probably even chuck in a 300W PSU if you wanted.
Obviously the Seasonic is of higher quality than the FSP (though there is nothing wrong with the FSP).
