I have recently acquired an abandoned aspire case, and since I got it for free, I'm thinking modding ahoy! The only problem is that the removable motherboard tray is missing from it. Is there any way to mock up something that could work as a mobo tray? One thing to note is that I don't have any spare sheet metal lying around and I'm a tad broke right now. Any suggestions?

Wire coat hangers! Use a set of motherboard standoffs and make small loops for each stud then run a screw into the standoff and you have a semi sturdy cheap tray substitute. Of course you will need to purchase some nylon acorn nuts for the standoff studs at lowes but $5 should take care of it.
