A little more in depth info from Daily Tech: OCZ Acquires PC Power & Cooling The story I've heard is that PCP+C has been exploring options for joint ventures for several months, including one involving Danger Den.

no way... cool smile.gif

QUOTE
In addition to combining current product lines, OCZ will make PC Power & Cooling's products available worldwide through its distribution channels, which includes Wal-Mart and Buy.com.

PCP&C at Wal-Mart?!?! ohmy.gif

(just watch out for Nerm if you're down there... or rather, be prepared to cover your eyes! laugh.gif)
Kash
OCZ has some great distribution channels. This only means more access for the consumer, and obviously cheaper prices (especially if OCZ is planning on selling at Wal-Mart).

PCP&C at wal-mart is interesting.
if WAL-MART becomes your primary source for sales and income, then wal-mart knows and will force you to make your produce cheaper or they will threaten you with not letting you sell there anymore, thereby killing your company and forcing layoffs and closings of plants. this happens constantly with other businesses that wal-mart sells. (ie: rubbermaid's disaster) PCP&C better keep their sales primarily NOT at wal-mart and bset-buy or the famous reliability we know of will take a dive to save money on the bottom line and satisfy sales of the big box stores wich at that point will be their driving force. of course thats the worst case scenario. best case is those stores dont become their primary sales source and they keep going strong like they have been for the last 20+ years.

lets just hope it dosent get to that point and they keep a great product out there.
