Besides newegg, where would you recommend looking for a computer case? (Looking for a mid-tower atx)

xoxide has a good selection. However, they're a bit expensive at times. I usually look at
view all for all the cases (easier to look)
Then go to a cheaper website

I was also looking at Xoxide, but it seems most of their cases are out of stock - at least the ones I'm interested in

Check out any CompUSA's around your area, prices may be a bit more, but even with sales tax, they're closing discounts more than cover for that.

one side question...why are Lian Li cases so expensive?

Cause people buy them anyways?

And people buy them because they are high quality and big....
Sundialmicro.com has a big selection also.

maybe they look different in person, but from the pictures I can't see spending an arm & a leg for a case

You pay for quality! There are a few nice cases out there that aren't to bad but if you want things like panels that fit, metal edges inside the case that don't require you to get stitches after the installation, A finish that does not scratch or peel the first time you use it you will have to pay. CoolerMaster makes some good cases, Antec is another good one. I have found $10 cases at the local computer salvage places to paint and modify. At this time i have 6 Antec, 3 CoolerMaster, 1 Enermax and 2 god knows what they are cases. It all comes down to personnel choice and budget. Good Luck

Because once you buy one Lian Li, you will end up buying another regardless of the price... the cheaper PC6x series just feeds you into the whole Lian Li madness!
But, yeah they are extremly high quality, you need to play with one yourself to notice though

I have a Chieftec DX-01B, mid-tower, roomy enough for the stuff I throw into it (see sig). I got a BeQuiet noise-dampening kit, put that in there and its extremely quiet, but HEAVY! (due to the noise dampening)
