cchalogamer
give me a little tiem to get it settled into its home and we'll actually see what it can do, this was a "let's see" typ thing, but ran prime for ~2.5 hrs while i was doing other stuff earlier b4 stopping for folding smile.gif

There ya go, a little something to boost both suicide and add a new 1M for me smile.gif

may I remind you swifty, that you need to run dual instances of SuperPI?
Info added, nice 3.6 GHz stable there at 1.4Vs!

withstupid.gif I can do super PI 1m at 3.8ghz, but with two, everything goes too heck. Can't even post a dual Super Pi 1m at 3.2ghz dry.gif This is why you hadn't seen much of me here

Ah thanks, I guess I'll pump up some more vcore. If only King would have posted from the get go on how pi should have ran and how it should not act and such heh.

Woulda been nice if you posted something like this king laugh.gif What did with pi was run two instances from the same file instead of having it run from two different folders. I post my screenies soon as I'm done with Dark Messiah biggrin.gif

Thats how I done it, I automatically figured it had to be two different folders with different file names just like folding. smile.gif
Yea King

wow... do I feel dumb.... that explains so much
swifty11212
So I did not need to increase my vcore to 1.4... Well so far so good though with this 32mb pi run, and then I'll do the 1mb pi and take back down my vcore to 1.38.

If only that trick worked with F@H GUI version, or does it?

Not sure about the Gui version, but it works with the console
swifty11212
Click to view attachmentClick to view attachment Here it goes I'll try the two sperate pi folders method for the GUI version of F@H and see if it works.
road-runner
If you have the option be sure to give two different machine numbers also.
swifty11212
Too bad the GUI doesn't support it. Guess I'll stick with the console version. Going to try to do a suicide SS later on.
Tallman
Hi all,

This looks like the fun place to be. Mind if I join? My Conroe e6700 air cooled.

Click to view attachment Click to view attachment

And I have two more results, but cannot seem to be able to select them. They do not show in the drop-down box even though they are in "My Attachments".
Anyone?
Tallman
OK, I think I figured out the upload thing. No matter how many pics I upload, only 2 pics can be added to a post. Is this correct?
So I will add more results here.
My Conroe 6700 on air again.

Hmm, guys how far do you think i will be able to get my 4300 up to on stock cooling? (and prolly stock volts because of the heat increase they cause)

Got mine to 3.2 stable at 1.47v... of course, this was on a bad axe motherboard
road-runner
I have a E6300, DS3, TT Typhoon that will be here tomorrow, I got the RAM today from NewEgg. I will have to install winders first and of course OC it before I install Ubuntu. Its a Folding only rig I only got 512mb of G Skill DDR2-6400.

Thanks for the welcome.
I am still working on it. Almost had 3650MHz, but OCCT crashed with only 7 minutes to go. I just got done upping the vcore to 1.56 (makes more heat though)
BTW, I also have a socket 775 Smithfield (P4-805D). But I don't see it on your list of procs. Do you plan to add them?

@ The Unforgivin-------Not all P4 775s are Pressie based!

Intel Pentium 4 (Smithfield) IA-32 processor is expected to be release in Q3 on a 90nm process. Smithfield is the successor to Prescott and will be a dual-core design based on the Socket 775 platform. Smithfield is expected to feature 1Mb L2 cache and Speedstep technology, and will be available in clock speeds of 2.8, 3.0 and 3.2GHz.

I am sure King will add it if you want to do some benchmarks, hes out of town or state or country for the holidays (he lives in Germany) and has just been checking in when he can. When he gets back home you will know it!

@Road-runner: You bought an entirely new rig PURELY for folding??

Yes I did, I am trying to cut down on the number of machines I have folding, so I need just a few fast ones. Its no different than all the others I bought brand new for folding. Fueler has 2 new Conroes on the way also for folding

Just what I was about to post road! I am in Austria right now, so I only check it when I can. For that P4 you have, sure, get some benchies and I will add it. With the P4's, I am not entirely sure of all the cores and such, so I just put Prescot/Presler cause I assumed that would be the most frequent ones. I will add the Smithfield in the green category (P4's)

Ok cool.

I will start out with a suicide shot for my Smithfield 805D with the Scythe Mine III cooler. How does 400 Ghz grab ya! LOL

I was wondering, if I have updated scores, should I edit my previous posts and pics or add a new post?
Thanks in advance for info.

No wonder my new dual pi results weren't listed.
ccokeman
Well here are some new marks for me.

hardnrg
nice work dude... smile.gif

I'm working on it. I finally found my weak core. And it needs 1.575v or more for 3700. The stronger core works fine up to 29 hours on 1.525v.But at those temps i'm not going to run 24/7. Looks like water cooling may be in my future to keep temps in check..
kingdingeling
I'm gonna update it right now, sorry guys but I had some random problem here. Another factor is that my PSU blew... so that got me back on this laptop, dang this thing's slow!

Who's Zeon? By the way Kind the E6300, 6400, 6600 are Conroes. The E4300 is a Allendale
kingdingeling
E6300 and 6400 is an Allendale as well, its a Xeon...

Xeons are intels server processors, like opterons on the AMD side. They are cheaper atm

Someone is wrong all the companys NewEgg etc. details on E6300, 6400 say they are Conroes. I bought a E6300 last week its a Conroe. I would post an image but I can not upload
Comp Dude2
Lol, i have my 4300 on 1.98 atm smile.gif wont bother registering that properly. i will see about getting a new hsf and then get a proper clock.

2.07 is unstable appearently, crashed after 45mins of OCCT, must be too hot i think. Btw, can anyone tell me what temps they are getting using the intel thermal analysis tool, and core temp? mine are quite different (like 50 on core temp and 68 on ITAT)
road-runner
You'll find plenty of sources that will tell you the code name for these 2MB Core 2 Duo processors is "Allendale," but Intel says otherwise. These CPUs are still code-named "Conroe," which makes sense since they're the same physical chips with half of their L2 cache disabled. Intel may well be cooking up a chip code-named Allendale with 2MB of L2 cache natively, but this is not that chip. Taken from here
kingdingeling
road, the point is that they have a different codename in CPU-Z, which is right because if it has native 2MB cache or 2MB by disabling the other 2MB doesn't matter. They will go through as Allendales here smile.gif

I agree and understand were going by Cpuz. I respect that so put me down for a suicide of 3276 with a E6300 Conroe. So as soon as the site lets me upload my Cpuz image I will have proof
Comp Dude2
use imageshack to host it smile.gif

That was my thought also, I just tried and it will not let me upload either. But anyway you must have a old version of Cpuz. Version 1.39 shows mine as Conroe. If I had better RAM I could probably go higher.
