Hello everyone.

Maybe some of you experienced modders can help me.

Does anyone here have any experience with either Lian Li or Skyhawk cases?

From what I can tell so far the Lian Li are made from thicker
gauge stamped & polished aluminum whereas
the Skyhawk is a thinner cast(?) material with an anodized finish.

So far I've found a Lian Li PC-60 for $112 and a Skyhawk 4610 for $89.

Both models have features I like such as, slide out
Mobo tray and dual front mounted fans which blow across
the HD assembly.

Is the $23 savings worth going to the Skyhawk or should
I spend the extra and get the Lian Li?

Thanks . . . biggrin.gif

if u can afford it,m id say go with the Lian-Li
ive always loved their cases, their very wide which is better for airflow, they are made out of thick and solid aluminum.
very good temps inside Lian-Li cases.

I'm going to have to disagree with the general concensus here.

I have the MS4610APD (w/ the 120mm side intake) and I can only praise this case. One thin you will want to consider, tho; the side intake vents on the outside of the case were only 80mm. However, I modded the case and only have one 120mm on the side as an intake (in a pretty crapin' design, if i say so myself) and put the 120 that came with the case as a blowhole on the top.

Anyways, I have really appreciated this case and I think that SkyHawk sometimes loses business just because Lian-Li is such a popular name. In my opinion they are pretty much the same case, except one is $X cheaper.

Thanks everyone.

The old cheap . $15 case I am using now doesn't have enough room
for the HD's in my new RAID array. And it doesn't cool very well either.
During long gaming sessions I have to leave the side off or the temp
gets too hot. wink.gif

The slide out Mobo tray is basically the same for both models.

Some of you think this is a bad idea?
