I just got a P180 antech case and i wanted to know if anyone heres has used them before i onpen up the box, is it roomy? does it really cool better than other cases?
ClayMeow
I never used one. I have a P160, which, IMHO, has a better layout. The p180 looks roomy though, just completely different internally than the P160.

I bought the case for a friend of mine. I would like to buy that case if I had the money it is roomy and worth it. The only drawback is the the PSU wire that goes to the board. If it is not long than you are in trouble, that is what I heard a guy complainign about from a diff site. A friend of mine bought the antec 550 and with tthat case it works fine.

What store you bought the case from?? Next time choose a different store. Majority store have 15-30 day return policy. Avoid the store next time. If they have that policy, they should not be in business.

You can do it!! ... Just open the box and build your rig and don't forget to post your impressions as I'm fairly interested in this case. tongue.gif

I convinced my friend to get the P180 for his computer in August. I liked it so much I decided to buy the Tt Armor instead! tongue.gif It may be a good design, but things felt too cramped for my liking. So now I have a 40-pound monster instead. This may be just his case, but the door is warped and the aluminum is starting to bend away from the plastic in a few places... I dunno.

^^^ As you can see, I don't like it at all. It looks good on the exterior at first, but now I think it's just boring. The warped door is another thing. I don't have a lot of experience with mid-towers, but it seemed too small because of the interior design. All the reviews I read for it this summer said it was an awesome case. I don't think anyone had any complaints about it... But I'm not everyone. You need to make sure your cables (power and data) are long enough too, otherwise you're screwed. The front vents are quite restrictive and really increase the noise level, but the filters are a nice feature.

Personally, I'd give it a 6 out of 10 overall.

I'm the one he convinced to get the p-180. And ecvept for the warped door (which i hope to fix) i like it a lot. Its is kinda small on the inside once you get everything put together, but unless you are planning on water cooling then i believe it's a good case.

Maximum PC gives it a 7/10. Here's an excerpt:
"Building inside the P180 takes a lot of plannin and patience; we found the overall experience to be more frustrating than rewarding. ...While the P180 is certainly quiet... building a system in this case requires extensive and aggravating cable routing through the cramped compartmentalized interior."

withstupid.gif it looks like doing cables may be a little difficult, but it certainly looks like a nice case.
