Old post. But anyways its not designed to be a replacement for the comon computer case. Its not suposed to be comon at all. Its a special celebration of their aniversiary that only a few people will ever have/see in real life. its meant to be different.
I kinda like it though its creative but still keeps Lian-Li's sleek industrial style going.

Yeah, I posted it a while ago when it came out, I too almost barfed when I saw it, and I stll might. I am truly disipointed in lian li, this and the half black anodized nad half silver anoidized case.. forgot what it was called, but holy crap two bad cases in a row?

Beyound the fact that its ugly, Im sure that it makes life a bit harder in terms of modding; no side window, posibility of incompatibility with fans, motherboards, drives, graphic cards (which are all square/rectangular).

For people who like crazy modded stuff i'm surprised at the bad reviews you've been giving it. I kind of like it, it's definetly not a boring beige box.

Wow I guess that makes the 2 of us, I don't think it's THAT bad. I have to admit my 1st reaction was like "OH gosh!" but then after awhile I felt sorry for it, its so different and alone...

Yea, they have only been making cases for twenty years. I am SURE they didn't think of that. I mean it is impossible to fit a square inside a much larger spiral shape.

It's in the shape of thier old logo I think, and I don't suppose they'll be expecting to actually sell many, It's just an 'anniversary model'

I sort of like it, at least it's different and it has a lot of room inside, or so it looks. Given the money, I would probably buy one.

i hate lian-li because their cases are boring, and they only look cool when people mod the hell out of them. At least this is something different.

Um.. don't make me go take a pic of my parents computer. and here is one i found on newegg. Yes it has blue buttons, but's it's still a beige box imo.

I agree about Lian Li cases generally being boring. But they also carry a bit of class which is hard to find if you don't want a dragon case or something. Like say in an office setting (because a lot of people are still very traditional).

well.. besides old people and old computers.... NEW cases are no longer beige

I have never been impressed with the cases from lian li. Ive always thought of them to be plain.

They make wonderfull cases. Some very Innovative cases too.

I like Lian Li, except for that snail case of course. My favorite case of all time, the CM wavemaster, was actually designed by Lian Li. For some reason Cooler Master uses the design though. Too bad, Lian Li could've made a nice profit off of the wavemaster sales.

Im sure they didnt just give away the design. They are getting something.

I love my Lian-Li case, but Im an old guy who likes clean and simple looking cases. I dont even necessarily like the window in my case. The Lian-Li was great to work with though, and combined with my OCZ Modstream 520w P/s it made cable cleanup easy for me. And I am notoriously lousy at cleaning up cable litter.

This case is so bad it actually hurts my feelings. I know it didint do or say anything to me, but I just feel hurt and betrayed when I see it.....

now if they made the top bit into a cube, that would be cool.

ya, its the Lan Li aniversary case, its really ugly, I dont know why they made it. It is the uglyist case Lan Li makes, and thats quite an insult, cuz Lan Li makes some pretty crappy cases

Lian Li cases without doors seem so plain. Since I don't really have the time or space to mod cases, I need to get one that has a little bit of style to it.

lol, and $300 for that?!?! I'd rather buy a $20 case (one I have now) that looks much better and is more moddable than that POS (granted it is a Lian-Li, so I bet the interior of it is quite nice).
