would this be good for my new system? I was going to get an x2 4800+ but i think ill wait for the fx-60 seeing as i just read about it. and a DFI lanparty board too, wish crossfire.. (i have faith in ati)

The only reason I see getting that PSU is if you plan on running 2 video cards in SLI or Crossfire mode. If you aren't gonna run dual video cards, then its a waste of money. I'd rather get the 500watt version of that Seasonic as it is practically the same while being cheaper.
